I love getting to be part of the big moments in peoples lives and your wedding is a pretty big one. To me, your wedding should be a reflection of who you and your partner truly are: your style, your story, your nerdy, and all the little things that make you, YOU.

Mitten Maven (that's me, Avis) offers inclusive, on-location wedding hair and makeup for every human. Whether your vision is soft and romantic, colorful and unconventional, dark and gothic, full glam, barely-there, or completely your own, the goal is never to make you look and feel like your best self. 

I will pack up my experienced hair and makeup team and travel throughout Michigan (and beyond!) to get you and your favorite humans ready for the day. I proudly work with all genders, hair textures, ages, skin tones, wedding styles, and definitions of what a wedding is “supposed” to look like.

Trials are held at my home base at Golden Hour Beauty Collective in Berkley, Michigan, where I can experiment, collaborate, and create a look that feels right before your wedding day arrives.
